Whenever ALL or The Descendents release a record, great things are
expected. With Live Plus One, fans get what they came for. Which is? Over 90 minutes of
pure punk, spanning two discs. This album is cheap too. It's an excellent two for one
deal.
Disc one is the ALL disc, and features over twenty of ALL's greatest, recorded at a show
earlier this year. To start off, the production is amazing. Crystal clear vocals and
instrumental work. There's not really anything to fast forward through. Disc one is very
consistent, as is the whole cd. It keeps you listening. I can only wonder how amazing
these guys must sound live in person.
Disc two is the bonus disc. You didn't think things could get any better, well they just
did. Disc two is a bonus disc (like I said) containing a Descendents show from 1996,
around the time when Everything Sucks was released. There's nothing I can say that hasn't
been said before. Disc two delivers also. Milo never fails. I love this entire cd. If you
are a fan, new or old, get it! |
